meet jackie

Jackie has been an international award-winning coach and choreographer for over 2 decades.  She began her competitive career on her high school team in Iowa and continued her dance career at the University of Louisville. After college, she followed her passion for dance to Oregon where she coached the Southridge Hawkettes to national prominence, a position they held for over a decade.  Jackie led the Hawkettes to finals at the UDA National Dance Team Championships for several years and helped achieve numerous other local titles.  In 2016, Jackie was named Oregon 6A Coach of the Year.

Jackie currently choreographs and consults for high school, college, All-Star, and pro teams. Her choreography and indefatigable spirit has helped many teams win state titles, as well as local and national awards.  Her work can be seen at a variety of competition circuits including UDA, NDA, DTU, Worlds/Summit, Jamfest and WCE.  In addition, Jackie has also worked with various companies including Nike, Adidas and the Portland Trailblazers.

Jackie’s coaching and choreography philosophy has always reflected a genuine interest in those she works with.  She asks her students to redefine their boundaries and set new goals when creating and working with teams. Her passion for connecting and mentoring dancers is a major component in her overall creative process and success.

Jackie currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
