1. What is the High School Dance Intensive?

Our intensives are tailored to elevate dancers of all levels in preparation for their upcoming season. Our events focus on crowd-pleasing, high-energy choreography, essential performance skills, sideline routines, and gameday fundamentals—all within a fun and supportive atmosphere. Dancers can train in hip hop, pom, jazz funk, and jazz, with options for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

2. Who can attend the dance intensive?
The intensive is open to dancers ages 12-18 of all levels who are looking to improve their skills and gain a competitive edge.

3. What styles of dance will be covered?
Our intensive covers various styles, including pom, jazz, hip-hop, and jazz funk. Each session is designed to focus on technical execution, musicality, and performance quality.

 

4. Do I need to be on a high school dance team or affiliated with a studio to attend?

Not at all! Our intensive is designed for both individual dancers and full teams. If you’re attending solo, you’ll quickly find a sense of community and connection—we create space for dancers to engage, grow, and build friendships with others and our faculty.

5. What if I’m not using these routines to perform? Will I still benefit?

Absolutely!  This intensive is an incredible training opportunity. Whether or not you’re performing the choreography, you’ll gain tools that help you elevate your overall performance quality, retain choreography faster, and build stamina.  If you have aspirations of dancing in the future, this is a great stepping stone—and a chance to meet and learn from top industry professionals.

6. What should dancers bring to the intensive?
Dancers should bring:

  • Proper workout/dance attire 

  • A refillable water bottle

  • Snacks and lunch 

  • Any additional items specified in the registration confirmation email

 

7. How do I register?
Registration can be completed online through our website. Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged to secure a place in the intensive.

 

8. What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds for the High School Dance Intensive regardless of illness, injury, schedule conflicts, or any other circumstances. All sales are final.

 

9. Can parents watch the classes?
To maintain a focused and distraction-free environment, classes are closed to parents and spectators. Coaches and directors are allowed. However, there is an opportunity for parents to observe a showcase on Day 2 of the intensive.

 

10. Will there be breaks during the intensive?
Yes, scheduled breaks will be provided throughout the day to allow dancers to rest and refuel.
